This is the final week of the first Al Jazeera Innovation Challenge. We have 168 participants signed up and the turnout has been very impressive. This week, we'll stay in touch a bit more than usual to make sure we get you all the information you need to have a successful submission, and a good shot at the $10,000 first prize!
Here's the first, and most important bit of advice we can give:
Get your submissions in now!
We're encouraging everyone who has drafted a submission (or plans to) to add in all the required details and links so we can start taking a look at your work. This will help us to see if you've got all the necessary information included in your submission, and what direction you've taken.
From there, we can advise some participants if there is something missing or needed before the deadline - which is next week.
TIME CHECK! 8 more days to submit!
We've seen several finalized submissions and we're really looking forward to seeing what else our participants can come up with in the final week.
Do you need any help finalizing your submission? Is there a bug you need to hammer out, or advice about putting together a video demo?
Good luck with the last week of the challenge!
We'll be in touch again in the next couple of days with more tips and information.
